A bike shop since 1969, Bax Cycles is a new name in a very familiar place. Close by and located just 1/4 mile off Route 1, in Cos Cob's business district. It's a great neighborhood for test rides, also just 15 minutes from Mianus River Park, our local and go to MTB trails.
The former Dave’s Cycle location (78 Valley Road Cos Cob), was been revamped, improved and reopened as a new bike shop in May 2022. Jon Baxendale, a local resident with long time ties to Greenwich, owns and operates the shop with a new energy and vision, and now caters to all levels of cyclists.
Jon is an avid cyclist with a history of racing in all disciplines, and as the father of three, also understands family and recreational biking needs.
Road, mountain, gravel, recreational, kids and E-bikes... We have something for everyone. And as the local community shop, we genuinely care about your experience. We also have a road group ride Thursdays 5:30/6 PM. All are welcome.
